Give cycling a go with Life Cycle UK

Spring has sprung and suddenly it’s nice to be outdoors again. Now is the perfect time to give cycle commuting (or any kind of cycling) a go!

Not got a bike? Feeling a bit wobbly? Want to avoid the main roads? Local non-profit organisation Life Cycle UK can help!

Buy an affordable, refurbished bike from the Life Cycle Hub:
There are a wide range of makes, models and sizes available – with further discounts for Job Seekers; apprentices, trainees and those on a work placement; and people earning less than minimum wage. The Hub is open for Bike sales most Fridays and Saturdays. Check the website for opening times and further details: https://www.lifecycleuk.org.uk/buy-a-bike

FREE, one-to-one, urban cycle skills sessions
Life Cycle has a team of qualified cycle instructors who can help people of all ages and abilities to feel confident on two wheels. Sessions are free if you live or work in Bristol. This is not just for those who want to learn to ride a bike – more confident riders are supported to navigate complex road systems. We can help everyone to discover new routes that avoid busy roads (if they wish). The sessions are tailored to you, move at your own pace and are designed to help you achieve your goals.
