How would you describe Southmead to someone who had never been? Could you represent it in a sound, a smell, a sight or a story? Make Space is an exciting new collaboration between Southmead Development Trust and We The Curious (formerly @Bristol), which will be looking to capture the “essence of Southmead”.
We The Curious are stepping into new areas of the city, to make sure that the ideas and voices of Bristolians are represented in their science centre. Southmead is one area that they have been keen to work with on this project. The group is made up of members from local community groups – Team Southmead, Inclusion Southmead and Southmead Young Mums – who will be coming together to work with an artist to design a piece that will form part of an exhibition at We The Curious.
If you’re interested in feeding into this project and telling us what the “essence of Southmead” is for you, join We The Curious on their stall at Southmead Festival this year. We want your thoughts, opinions and experiences to be part of this exciting project!
