Last year we all wanted to get together but we were still cautious about meeting in large groups. So our Community Development Manager Lucille worked with residents to put on a week of smaller group festive activities and music. It was a lovely way for us to be together, as the days got shorter and the weather got colder, to celebrate the winter season.
This year, we are delighted that residents and volunteers have asked to do it again and have kindly offered their time and talents for another Winter Celebration Week. Daily from Monday 28th November until Friday 2nd December, it ends with a super Christmas Quiz with food and a raffle.
The focus is cosiness, crafts and cuppas! From winter walks and poncho making, to wreath, greetings card and decoration crafts, there’s something for everyone. And it’s all free. Do browse the programme below.
