A care home in Southmead is inviting local people to join a free online event offering support for people considering care for their loved one.
On Wednesday 2nd December, from 11am-11.45am, the Care UK team at Trymview Hall care home, on Southmead Road, will be hosting a free ‘Funding Care’ event virtually.
Nicky Cave, an accredited care funding specialist from Eldercare group, will be on hand to deliver an informative session to help those caring for a loved one understand the options for funding long-term care, including how the care funding system works, and which state assistance may be available.
Pamela Arnsmeyer, Home Manager at Trymview Hall, said: “Here at Trymview Hall, we understand that providing advice and guidance can be incredibly helpful for anyone considering the future care of a loved one, which is why we are delighted to host this event, albeit virtually.
“It is a privilege to be joined by Nicky, who can provide professional guidance in this area, and we hope local people will take this opportunity to benefit from her expertise.”
For anyone unsure about how to take part in the virtual event, help is at hand. The team at Trymview Hall will host the event using Zoom, an online meeting space. Simply call or email Customer Relations Manager, Evonne Burch, and she will send a link to join the event and share her tips to make the most out of the session.
The new care home provides full-time residential, nursing and dementia care, with 66 en-suite bedrooms, and has been designed to enable residents to live active and fulfilled lives, while also promoting independence. The care home incorporates space for hobby and leisure activities and will include its own cinema, hairdressing salon and café.
