The Single Parent’s Fair is an annual event that The Community Church runs to value and encourage single parents in the community who do an incredible job of rising kids single handedly.
Join us on Saturday 11th November, at the Greenway Centre, Doncaster Road, BS10 5PY, from 10:30am – 12:30pm.
This is our 15th year, and our vision has stayed the same all this time; we want to have a day when all the hard work is recognised and to cheer single parents on with a whole load of love!
When life seems to get more challenging than ever with the cost of living crisis, we want to share God’s love in a very real way.
Everything we offer has been thought through carefully. We offer professional photographs because it’s impossible to take that amazing family shot if there is only one of you.
We offer haircuts and massages because when do you ever get the time to do that?
We provide pre-loved clothes and toys because when everything is on a tight budget that may be just the help you really need.
And we take great care of your kids with a crèche and a craft room so you can actually relax for a few minutes in our cafe while your kids are having a great time.
We also provide advice stands from agencies that offer support, and there’s loads more fun with bouncy castles, face painting and popcorn! All this is totally free.
If you are a single parent, you are invited to come and join in.
If you are interested in seeing what we as a church are about, we have a family friendly Sunday service at the Greenway Centre every Sunday at 10:30am.
