We are holding our next Annual General Meeting this Saturday 20th April, at the Greenway Centre, 10-11.30 a.m. This follows from the popularity of our Saturday morning meeting last year, so we have chosen this day again.
There will be a visual annual report with a slideshow, and a talk about the past year in the wood with plans for the future. As well as the formal side of the AGM, there will also be the opportunity to ask questions and discuss issues and aspirations for Badock’s wood.
The Annual Report and Accounts will be published on our website soon. We have four officers who are elected each year – Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer, and Secretary. Our current elected officers are willing to stand again, but if you would like to stand for any of the posts please let us know.
We also have a wider committee who help run the group including organising and leading litter picks, bird and other wildlife monitoring, talks, walks, work parties, other events, and website management.
We are keen to have more people involved in the Committee so do get in touch if you are able to join the Committee – email the Secretary for a chat about what sort of things you are interested in doing and what time commitment that might be.
If you can register for the AGM (via Eventbrite) it will help us know how many people to expect.
We hope to see you there and everyone is welcome.
