You don’t need to act to be involved in Meaders to Meaders. How about sharing your memorabilia for the Retro Southmead Wedding Exhibition at the Greenway Centre.
We’d love to display your stories, memories, photos and artefacts from weddings and special occasions in Southmead. From wedding dresses and cake toppers, to the music for a first dance or the menu, we want to show the lot!
Whether you tied the knot last summer or back in the 1950s tell us all about it and all the different ways you celebrated it. We’d like stories from partnerships and marriages from all cultures and genders and we want all the details like the food, the fashion, the music and the mood!
Bertel Martin is a Bristol historian working with the project and will be taking copies of your precious items to create the exhibition. He will also chat through your memories with you to include in the exhibition if you don’t want to write them down.
