Mental Wellbeing Support Group – Kintsugi Hope

Kintsugi is a Japanese word to describe a piece of broken pottery which has then been mended with gold; it’s all the more beautiful because it’s been broken.

At St Stephen’s we offer a Kintsugi Hope Wellbeing Group as a safe and supportive space:

  • for people who feel or have felt overwhelmed
  • we provide tools for self-management
  • the group is in a facilitated peer mentoring style setting

Issues covered include – disappointment, loss, anxiety, anger, perfectionism, shame, and resilience.

We have received great feedback from those who have already attended.

We will be running the next Kintsugi course for 12 weeks in the summer term 2022.  Starts Wednesday 27th April.

Details: Every Wednesday, 1:00 – 3:00pm, at St Stephen’s Church, Ullswater Road, Southmead.

There are still places available, so please do get in touch with Jon if you’d like to attend and be part of a welcoming, confidential, and supportive group.
