Fonthill Primary Academy was thrilled to receive a visit from Bristol Mayor Marvin Rees. The Year 5 and 6 children enjoyed a Q & A with him, and learnt all about democracy and his role in making Bristol a great city. Marvin then presented certificates to the children elected to be part of the school council this term.
A very big thank you to Marvin for taking time out of his busy schedule to visit us, and also to Southmead councillor Helen Godwin for organising this visit.
