On the 19th of June we took the opportunity to say thank you to all our hard working and dedicated volunteers, by putting on a thank you event at the Greenway Centre.
This was the first time we were able to do this on such a scale, and the turnout was amazing with 40 volunteers attending as well as members of Trust staff and performers.
The entertainment couldn’t have been better with both the Greenway Singing Group and Esme Doll giving it their all, they were a joy to watch.
Volunteers were also treated to mini massages by Jess from Holistic Therapies (strongly recommend), delicious Caribbean food, and everyone was rewarded with certificates by our Trustee and local Councillor Brenda Massey.
It was really lovely to see volunteers from different projects getting to meet and share their experiences.
Thank you to everyone who helped with the event and a huge thank you to volunteers for all that you do!
