Southmead’s Sanctuary for Study & Reading

Southmead Library is THE place to be if you are studying.  There’s a bank of computers ready and waiting to be used for quiet work.

Back in my day, study at home was a constant litany of avoiding family situations, raiding the fridge for goodies, and pretending to study whilst watching the television.  Not surprisingly everything took much longer to take in!

But in Southmead you can find peace in which to study properly, in the calm of this lovely little sanctuary.

So, grab some exercise on the way and pound the pavement from our old Library, across Greystoke Avenue, to our new but temporary Library.

As well as finding computers waiting for you, there are a wealth of other resources, plus an informed, helpful team of savvy librarians.

The building is fully accessible, with an accessible loo, and if you need refreshments, a break to pop over to Express Café is highly recommended.
