With people needing to stay at home this holiday season, Southmead Development Trust’s employment and training team have been thinking about roles that will be as important as ever. Driving, delivery, warehousing, supermarkets and mail sorting are all likely to be advertising for work over the Christmas period very soon.

Our employment and training team have a variety of options on offer to support you to get a holiday season job. Whatever your experience, everyone’s got skills to offer and we want to help you show that off!

Lucille is running online employment workshops throughout November so you can gain some key strategies around job search, writing a CV and dealing with interviews all whilst keeping up your confidence (so you can shout about why you’re great). If you need a little more guidance, you can get 121 support with the West of England Works team. By teaming up with a mentor, you can get up to 6 months of support to get you closer to the employment or training you want.
