Greenway Learning & Wellbeing is Up and Running – Come and See Us

We are absolutely thrilled to share that the launch of our new pre-employment service, Greenway Learning & Wellbeing, was a success last Thursday.

From 12 to 4 PM we joined the Greenway Advice & Support Hub to meet residents who had read about our service in our community magazine, The Mead, or had been linked by our professional partners.  This was an exciting and positive step forward to support people taking their next steps towards employment or voluntary work.

We met five new participants who came along to find support in different areas – from opportunities to improve their skills, to courses in English and Maths, to building confidence after long-term health conditions that have kept them out of work.

What made the launch even more special was the chance to sit down over a cuppa and really get to know each individual’s unique story and goals. We were able to offer tailored support, including referring people for further skills development, and connection with Citizens Advice Bristol who were alongside us at the Hub.

The focus of Greenway Learning & Wellbeing is not just to get people back into work, but to support them holistically – whether that is building confidence, improving skills, or simply having someone to talk to. We cannot wait to be back this Thursday 21st November – so do come by for a cuppa, a natter, and to find out more about how we can support you in the direction you want to go.
