On Tuesday 6th November, from 12.30pm-2pm at Greenway Centre (Activities Room), there will be a SPECIAL EVENT AND GUEST APPEARANCE. The original Meadows to Meaders scriptwriter Bea Roberts will be joining us to discuss how to make our stories into a Southmead soap opera, helping us to write for laughs, for tears and for the sheer fun of it.
The scriptwriting workshops will continue running every Tuesday from 12.30-2pm at the Greenway Centre until early December when there will be a final session meeting the Bristol Old Vic team. Tuesdays November 13th, 20th and 27th will involve the community writing their own dialogue ready for rehearsals.
Rehearsals will start from January. We invite anyone to join, and will soon be casting for the various roles of the play. Let us know soon if you are interested, as the script will be finalised depending on its actors. All welcome.
