Storm Darragh blew us all away last weekend and we had to postpone our popular community panto, oh yes we did! And what a palaver it was – as we were all officially advised to stay at home we thought at first that we needed to cancel only the first performance and merge two audiences, but then, alas, the panto cast and crew could not get to us for the second performance, so we had to cancel that too.
We were so disappointed not to be able to host the shows, and so sorry to everyone who had been looking forward to coming. We know there were little ones dressed up as fairies, princesses, princes, and all kinds of panto characters who had to stay at home and watch the winds whirl instead of a panto twirl, and we cannot wait for them to dress up again and join us for the new date in January.
The new date, at which all tickets are of course valid, is Saturday 11th January. There are still two shows (12 PM and 3 PM) and we do hope you can make it, and that the weather is kind to us all.
If you do not have tickets already, you can pay in person at Greenway with either cash or bank card, or pay online with your bank card HERE
If you have any queries please do contact us, telephone: 0117 950 3335, or email: info@southmead.org.
This will be the eighth time we have brought the magic of panto to our community. We are always delighted to offer this low cost alternative to downtown prices by subsidising tickets to make sure all our families can see a Christmas show.
