Each year Community Church and Reach After-school club run a morning especially for lone parents and their children. This year will be the 10th Single Parents Fair that has run at the Greenway Centre on Doncaster Road, Southmead. It is on Saturday 11th Nov from 10am-1pm and is for any family where there is only one parent looking after children.
There are activities for children such as sport, craft, bouncy castles, face-painting etc, and while they are having a great time, the parents can have a pampering session (hair cut, nail manicure, massage etc). There will be as-new clothes for parents and children plus homemade cakes and hot drinks. The great news is that it is all free!
