Come and join our Energy Champion programme where we will provide you with the support to help you make your home warmer and reduce your energy bills. You do not need any experience to be involved and we welcome people of all abilities.
We invite you to four free workshops this February to learn about how to reduce your energy bills, combat mould, and make your home warmer. By taking these steps you will also lower your carbon footprint and help to tackle climate change. Also on offer will be the chance to receive an Energy Trace worth up to £350, the opportunity for further training, as well as support to become a volunteer and share your learnings with others.
We we want to make sure everyone is offered the support to increase their comfort at home, as well as home energy efficiency, and so are putting on these sessions at Greenway Centre as an easily accessible location for Southmead residents.
The Energy Champion workshops will be every Wednesday evening in February, from 6 – 7:30 PM. There will be a free hot meal at each session and the opportunity to ask any questions you might have about your home’s energy issues. The workshops will take you on a journey through the low-cost changes you can make. We will also explore options for greener heating in your home.
Free DIY draught-proofing kits will be available to you and we will support you to share what you have learned with others in your community.
We would love to see you there, do contact us if you have any questions.
