The Bristol Young Heroes Awards is an exciting initiative run by Community of Purpose in partnership with Bristol City Council.  The fifth annual awards ceremony will take place on Friday 13th April 2018 at The Wills Memorial Building on Queens Road.

The awards recognise the valuable contribution that Bristol’s young people (aged 11-19) make to the city – particularly those who have overcome difficult circumstances, made a difference in the lives of others or achieved great things.   The celebratory evening will begin with a drinks reception and formal dinner, followed by the award presentations.

Categories for 2018 are as follows:

•          Action Hero

•          Arts & Culture Hero

•          Caring Hero

•          Enterprise Hero

•          Learning Hero

•          Sporting Hero

•          Super Hero

Three nominees from each category will attend the event as guests of honour with the winning young heroes announced on the night.  An 8th award for Over All Young Hero will be taken from all the nominees and be announced on the night.

There will also be a 9th award given out on the night to a person who has shown considerable dedication to Youth services. This award will be The High Sheriffs Award. There are no age restrictions to this category.
