Conversations about Southmead’s Climate Action Plan have been in full swing since July. We’ve held pop-ups, visited community groups, and our online survey is still open. I’m holding two Climate Catch Ups & Cuppas on Tuesday 24th October and Tuesday 14th November, at 5:30 – 6:30pm, in Community Corner at the Greenway Centre. It will just be an informal chat where you can share your thoughts and ideas about how Southmead could take action for nature and climate.
The seven themes of the plan are: Nature, Food, Energy, Transport, Waste, Buildings, Green Economy. We’ve got until Christmas to gather everyone’s ideas and priorities about these themes for Southmead’s plan. So now is the time to get your thinking caps on and let me know! I’m looking forward to hearing what you’ve got to say.
If you can’t make it but would like to take part then click HERE to complete our online community survey. The more people who take part the better!
