Next weekend it’s festival time at the Greenway Centre. The weather forecast is sun, sun, sun and the day is going to be fun, fun, fun. We have all day live music and Southmead’s very own Hooper are the headliners.
On the Southmead Community stage there’ll be lots of great local acts including the Bollywood Dance Medley, two performances of the Southmead soap ‘Meadows to Meaders’, the Happy Band, our community Line Dancers and much much more.
Entry is FREE, the rodeo bull ride is FREE, the bouncy castle is FREE, and the bungee runner is FREE. There’ll be a funfair, stalls, a car boot fair, plus lots of games and activities for all the family.
There will be festive food delights from the Greenhouse Cafe, as well as delicious Caribbean cuisine from Soul Food, and lots of ice-cream, cold drinks and cake. The fully licensed bar will be open.
So bring your family, friends and neighbours together to celebrate Southmead and summer – see you there.
