Come and Help Shape the Community Climate Action Plan – Wednesday 21st February

After seven months of pop-ups, craft sessions, meetings, and a community survey, we’re moving on to the next stage of the Community Climate Action Plan. I’ve heard lots of thoughts, likes and dislikes, hopes and ambitions for Southmead, and now it’s time to shape our priorities which will feature in the final plan.

Everyone is invited to take part. On Wednesday 21st February at 6 – 7:30pm, join us to take a look at the different ideas which have come out of the many conversations and survey results. With the help of stickers, pens, and big bits of paper, we’ll be able to put together the priorities, and how to achieve them, for the seven themes of: Nature, Food, Energy, Transport, Waste, Green Jobs, and Buildings. There’ll be someone on hand to chat through any questions you might have.

You can just drop in for ten minutes, or stay for the whole time. A hot drink and snacks will be available so you can stay fuelled for thinking all things climate action for Southmead.

If you have any questions about the Community Climate Action Plan you can check out more information HERE, or email me on ellatainton@southmead.org – please tell all your offline friends, family and neighbours about this event.
