Why not start the New Year with a challenge and learn to play chess? Or you may have played a while ago and want to improve your skills but need some encouragement to start again. Matt our volunteer holds a Chess Club at Henleaze Library every Fortnight on a Friday and welcomes all players young and old, complete novice or experienced. The sessions are relaxed and are a good way to find some calm at the end of the week and focus your mind on the strategies of chess.
There is no need to book, just drop in and you can choose whether you want to stay for the whole session or not.
Henleaze Library is opposite Waitrose on Northumbria Drive and Sessions start at 5.30pm and finish just before the library closes at 7pm
