A Prickly Good Time

We are off!!!! My family and I have been excited about the Gromit Unleashed 2 sculptures since Aardman Animations and the Wallace and Gromit appeal, announced that once again they would be filling our summer with another trail. We reached fever pitch when we found out that the lovely Greenway Centre was a chosen spot so it was only natural that we would make Pickles McPrickles our starting point. Monday evening, after school we headed off up the road in the sunshine to meet our first Gromit of the year and he absolutely did not disappoint. There were so many people wandering in and out which created a lovely atmosphere and now the café is open into the evening it made sense to stay for a cuppa and something to eat. The staff were as lovely as always and the new members of the team already look at home. The food was really fresh and tasty and we left with full stomachs and our first Gromit ticked off. Why not come and visit soon, it is a great venue to have a drink, snack or even breakfast or lunch, after all you’ll need somewhere to rest after a hard days Gromit hunting.
