We are getting ready for and excited about the next Greenway Market at the Greenway Centre on Saturday 29th October, 12 – 3pm. There’ll be a wide selection of crafts, handmade products and pre-loved items to browse and buy. Low cost refreshments will be on sale thanks to volunteers from St Stephen’s Church Southmead.
In addition to the Market, there will be support available to residents who’d like a bit of help. North Bristol Advice Centre will be on hand to offer free and independent welfare benefits and debt advice, and Bristol Energy Network will also be offering advice for all things Energy related as we attempt to navigate our fuel bills and concerns.
Also, by popular demand, Southmead’s own Knit and Natter group will be meeting to support us to get up and running with our knitting needles and to sell some of their affordable hand-knitted hearts – a perfect Christmas gift. They’re also up for just nattering if you don’t want to knit!
We will also be joined by Rosie June, Psychic Tarot Reader – you may have met Rosie at last year’s Winter Celebration week – her sessions were very popular. Rosie is taking bookings for readings and charges £15 for a one-to-one private slot – to book contact Rosie direct, tel: 07950 717 952, email: rosiejunereadings@yahoo.com
The Market is organised thanks to Volunteer Karen Green so do get in touch if you would like to go on the list for stalls at future markets or for any stall related info – leave a message at Greenway on 0117 950 3335.
