Volunteering with Alive is a chance to make a meaningful connection to the people living in your community. Alive is a Bristol based charity aiming to light up later life for people living in care homes and those living in the communities around them. Alive is looking for volunteers to allow us to reach more older people across a range of settings.
As volunteers you will be supporting staff to ensure the sessions are welcoming and friendly environments. The sessions are three hours long and will be something different each week – from gardening, day trips or just chatting.
Alive Clubs provide carers with the opportunity to take a break, whilst reducing isolation and creating a space of friendship and connection for everyone.
