The Mead BS10 Issue 55 / Southmead Festival Special – it doubles up as a programme!
The Festival is the Southmead Community’s free-entry annual family extravaganza with live music, entertainment, food, a fun fair, stalls, stands, displays, a tug of war competition, play activities and much much more.
If you are a seller and would like to book a stall, please get in touch, email: nataliebailey@southmead.org or phone us at the Greenway Centre on 0117 950 3335 and ask for Natalie or James.
The Southmead Festival has been running for 45 years and was originally organised by the Southmead Community Council. It is a free, open air event for the people of Southmead and surrounding areas. It was moved to the Greenway Centre from Glencoyne Square in 2012 due to the unpredictable Southmead weather. The indoor space that the Greenway Centre offers enables the Festival to go ahead come rain or shine.
We rely on generous donations from local people and business to continue each year. This could be money, raffle prizes, or volunteering your time to help on the day.
